A digital human is a computer generated character, built to replicate the mechanical, behavioral, and personality traits of a human-being. A digital human can appear anywhere along the spectrum of realism, from children’s fantasy characters (that act human) to hyper-realistic digital actors that are virtually indistinguishable from actual humans. Advancements in the digital human trade are principally driven by the talent and technology found in the converging worlds of animation, visual effects and video games.
